Choose almost any month that suits you and your sheep for shearing, (excluding the winter months), just approx 6 - 8 months from last time.

 - For any animal health problems refer to your local Vet.

January
  Shearing: Administer Zinc Bullets for Eczema; treat Fly strike; Drench Lambs

February
  Shearing: Monitor/Treat Facial Eczema and Fly strike; Drenching Lambs:

March
  Shear again (if last shorn Oct-Nov) Monitor/Treat Facial Eczema and Fly strike; Drenching Lambs;  Put Rams with Ewes

April
  Shearing or Crutching; Monitor/Treat Facial Eczema and Fly strike; Drenching Lambs; Put Rams with Ewes

May
  Treat for Lice; late Shearing or Crutching Remove Rams

June
  Crutching; Pre Lamb vaccination for ewes

July
  Pre Lamb Crutching; Pre Lamb vaccination for ewes;  Watch for bearings 

August
   Pre Lamb Crutching; Pre Lamb vaccination for ewes; Lambing

September 
  Main Shearing season starts. Lambing; Docking; Vaccinate Lambs (at Docking Time); Shearing of Ewes (if have 6 months wool)

October
  Book shearing in NOW; Shearing; Drench Lambs - each month for the next 7 months; Docking  & Vaccinating; Drench adult Sheep;  Watch for fly strike.  Shearing of older lambs too. 

November
  Shearing (probably including lambs); Drench,  Docking & Vaccinating of Lambs; weaning of older lambs; Monitor/Treat Fly strike. 

December
  Shearing adults and lambs;  Drench Lambs;  Drenching of adult Sheep; Monitor/Treat Fly strike.
